$33 for a small meyer lemon? This is no deal, you'll find them cheaper in many big box stores with regularity throughout the season, or can get much, much larger ones for not a whole lot more from nurseries.

I bought 2 of these about a year ago. Suppose to be easy to grow. Both died about 3 months after I got them. Don't waste your time or money.

These were about $8 in Walmart clearance last fall. My lemon tree isn't doing well, but the lime tree has a lime growing already.

Got 1 of this last year. Left it in Florida, but didn't get to visit for 6 months. Still alive but not thriving. Meanwhile, the bigger one I got from a local nursery is thriving. Maybe the bigger the better...

Not really a good deal. Even at the big box stores you can probably find a 3 gallon for around this price. If you go to a plant nursery you should definitely be able to find a 3 gallon for about 30 bucks.

I wish people had understood this before they made purchases. Lemon trees are easy to grow only if they grow outside in the right climate zone. Inside lemon trees need a lot of attention.

Don't buy citrus from big box stores. Go to a local.nursery that probably has a better rootstock.for.the area.

Many big box use regional contractors to source their plants, so it may not matter.

The first few years it flowers, you should remove them to make the tree grow stronger. Else, all the strength will go to the growth of the fruit and not to the tree itself.

Is everyone here talking about the improved Meyer lemon or the original Meyer lemon? I saw this in the nursery and thought about giving it a try since the improved looks like it can handle the cold in my area.

Lemons are easy to grow… I've grown them. You literally just need to remember to water the plant.
