Remember, folks, this isn't a Legion 5 Pro from the last couple of years. This is a notch below that, esp. with a screen at 300 nits instead of 500 nits. It's still a very competent machine, but just Caveat Emptor.

I recently acquired the Pro version but mine is 300 nits 165hz. And 300 nits is good enough for my use. More nits and hz are just bad for the already bad battery.

lenovo needs to fix their shit with those damn bios updates on their legions which seem to roll of the dice brick your system. happened to me. lenovo claims mobo failure. absolutely not, it was lenovo's bios update

can read about the nonsense on reddit, but it's not unique to this particular model. this issue spans years

My legion pro with the 3080 is the best laptop ive ever owned (build quality not just specs). Battery life isn't great but I never use it unplugged so it doesn't bother me. I use a tablet when I want long battery life on flights or whatever.

Also makes a good desktop replacement at the off-grid cabin as it doesn't use much power it's just the battery is tiny.
