Dagnabbit, you made me look... for anyone interested, there is a Nick Johnston Traditional on sale used from Guitar Center for $450 (listed as a Signature, but it pops out pretty quickly if you look up a Signature that this is a Traditional),

These are some phenomenal guitars. The Traditional is made in Indonesia and has a roasted maple neck as opposed to the Signature with a Wenge neck and made-in-USA upgrades. But still ...the Traditional is $799 USD while the Sig is $3150! You can check out the features list, but essentially, for the Sig -- $2350 more -- you get
Wenge neck

Better Jescar frets

Nick Johnston Atomic Set pickups

Cracked nitro finish

The Wenge neck -- this wood is not endangered, -- not cheap but not expensive like Brazilian rosewood. Maybe a $200 upgrade. Frets -- maybe $100. Pickups -- maybe $150 more (full set is $300). Cracked nitro -- maybe $250 max. Total is $700. They are upcharging $2350. Complete ripoff if you ask me.

Traditional just refers to the fact it's schecters s type body shape. It's still a Nick Johnston signature model. I think what the other guy may have been trying to say was this isn't a USA model, but I'm not sure.

They are both signature models and both traditional lines (s-type) from schecter. One is just Indonesian and the other is made in the USA by schecters US custom shop.

Right. And the used one I shared is a traditional, rather than a signature, even though Guitar Center has it labeled as a signature...

I posted the exact hardware differences between the two. Beyond that I'm sharing a deal on a guitar listed in the OP but in my link, the guitar is mis-listed by Guitar Center, so I don't want anyone mistaking that $800 MSRP guitar being a $3000 guitar listed for $450.

I don't see how they mis listed it. They didn't call it a USA model. Both the USA and Indonesian guitars are Nick Johnston signature models and of the Traditional model line from schecter. The difference would be if they put USA in their description, but that pretty clearly is a diamond series just from how light the neck is alone. I know that not everyone may be as clued in on Schecter guitars as I am when it comes to the NJ series, but I'm failing to see where GC mis-listed that guitar. I think you are mainly getting hung up that on schecters website they just call the Indonesian one the Nick Johnston Traditional. it's still a signature model with his name on it. In any case where an artist has a guitar made by a company with their name attached to it, it is considered a signature model. I can sort of see where you are coming from on that side of things, but i still don't think they are misrepresenting the listing as they aren't saying USA made or anything that leads me to believe it's the more expensive model.

It's really $900 MSRP not $800 right? I'm super tempted… you're going to get me in trouble lol

Anyone know when this sale ends? Now my options are Nick Johnston new here for $630 or used at a different guitar center for $510. I want to play it before I buy and won't be able to do that until tomorrow night. That's why I'm stalling.

If you were to buy directly from Schecter at this time, it would cost $900 https://www.schecterguitars.com/N...r_list=230

According to Schecter's Site the two are separate Nick Johnston models under the same Nick Johnston Standard SKU, the model labelled a USA Signature has more features and $3500 msrp. The model beneath that SKU labelled Traditional does not have those features and is what is listed, but labelled a Signature on the USED Guitar Center Listing I linked to earlier. It is very easy to see in the headstock color alone.

USA Signature:
