Plus I wonder how many people just help themselves when they didn't actually buy a drink. Suddenly it's not so profitable anymore.

its more than 1 dollar about what most of them are worth.
if i wanna pay regular prices I'm going to in n out or chick fil a instead of these trash corporate restaurants that are actually real estate companies selling their brand to increase real estate value and rent them out.
about 70-80% of the corporate restaurants are this now and their quality decreasing after going corporate and higher prices because of rent not wages.
hopefully these corporations all go bankrupt as they destroy themselves.
