Damn it, got the other color thinking this wouldnt go on sale too.
I also bought this during the last deal with the walnut finish. I use it to play music. It goes down to 37 Hz whereas some of the really pricey ones go down into the teens. For my uses it's more than adequate and I like the compactness of it. Sounds great and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
Amazing quality for the price paired with some Monolith MTM-100 as a desktop setup

Man I hope these are good. I just ordered three as subwoofers for my pinball machines Smilie

The Polk PSW10 has done me well for one of my machines, but went over to the other Jamo HT setup. I expect this should do fine for the limitedness of the application.

You won't be disappointed. Especially that you have multiple! Most of us who got this are happy buyers so far.. 😀

I bought the walnut version of this and have had it running for a couple weeks now for my studio/office setup with a pair of KRK Rokit 5 studio monitors. Could not be happier with it, especially for the price. Great to have the built in crossover, and the auto on/off works well. Especially handy if you've got it set up behind or under something - mine is under my desk. Love it.

How did you get it all connected? I have KRK rokit's going to a UA Apollo. I think I might be overthinking it lol

I have a small Mackie 8 channel mixer as part of my desktop setup. My desktop computer, an 1/8" cable for iPad or laptop use and a 1/4" cable for when I want to connect an instrument all run into that mixer. The main L/R from the mixer feeds my monitors, and I have an RCA Y-cable in the Tape Output summing L and R and sending to a single RCA plug for the sub. That's one of several ways I could do it.

If you're using anything but the Apollo Solo you could use any of the additional line out jacks. If you've got the Solo you'd have to rig up an assortment of adapters to split the left and right outputs into two each, then combine one of the two on each of the L and R outs back into a single RCA to feed the sub. It depends on what generation of Rokit monitors you have as to what you'd need from there. Mine allow for XLR, balanced TRS, or unbalanced RCA input.

Assuming your Rokits have an RCA input...

A couple of these to split L and R outputs into two RCA female jacks:

One of these to combine one RCA out of each of the above adapters into a single RCA female:

Then 3 of whatever length of RCA male to male you need to reach your sub and monitors.

Does anyone know if this would be an upgrade compared to the Sony Core Subwoofer?

I bought the Sony Subwoofer from Best Buy while it was on sale for $149. I had them both for about a week. I was very disappointed at the lack of bass the Sony output. Maybe it was my room, not too sure. But this Jamo definitely puts out twice the bass.

I have an old Polk satellite set and recently realized my sub is blown. Would this work good as a replacement?

Yes, you just have to tune the level and the crossover frequency to match your existing speakers, not to hard but it takes some patience to get it seamless. This sub is designed to be used to compliment most existing systems that don't have a subwoofer

Just got this sub a couple days ago - for the price you can't go wrong. Works great with my Bose speakers on my PC for music.
