I would lean towards Amazon renewed for any of these. Rather than a 90 day warranty, you have a 90 day return policy. $619 for the 512gb 13Pro, $439 for the 128GB 13 Pro and $640 for the 14 with 256gb.

Maybe a little more money, but potentially a lot less hassle. And if it isn't in the condition you expect...easy returns.

I ordered the 512 GB 13 Pro on Friday and it hasn't shipped yet. Has yours?

Edit: Mine is shipping today (Wednesday). Coming from a company called Innovation Computers in Miami. Fingers crossed.

Lots of reasons, though mostly video-related. Most obvious I can think of is recording video at 4K 60fps. That's about 24GB/hr.

I've also heard from some data hoarder people on Reddit that as few as 6 4K movie rips can fill 1TB, though your mileage will depend on how lossy the compression is. I could see someone who flies a lot wanting to load up movies for offline payback.

For me it's:
Screen recordings - about 10GB/hr
Games - AAA games are often around 5GB a piece or larger.
StableDiffusion AI image/video generator models - about 2GB/piece for decent ones.
The rest is photos and videos.

Not enough to fill the full terabyte, but over 512GB and it's nice not having to worry about running out of storage and deleting things.

issue is that 1. who's really playing AAA games on an iPhone nobody does that other than apples press. 2. how often would people take that many screen recordings realisticly. 3. ok I get the AI part 4. How could you possibly keeps valuable photos and videos locally on an iPhone. If anything happens to the phones a lifetimes worth of memories could be gone in an instant. its extremely scary, I used to have a SSD with all of my photos and videos and one day it just failed. Everything gone in an instant.

Just got my 13 Pro and physically it is "pristine". Thought there was a scratch on it but it's just a piece of dust under an installed screen protector. Got home late so I haven't turned it on yet but I'm hoping for a good replacement to my iPhone 11.

After removing it, I noticed a scratch on the screen, so much for the "pristine like-new condition" claimed by Woot. There were a few minor scratches on the metal which are not as bothersome as the screen damage. Battery life shows 97% so at least that part of their product description appears to be true in my case. I wish I had gotten lucky like a few others who apparently received items in mint condition. Their forum thread reveals these are likely phones returned to Apple but not likley to have been refurbished by Apple (which explains the batteries not being new). Woot is nothing like it used to be back in 2005 when I first signed up... "One day, one deal" and at least far more honest with their listings... Peace

I got lucky. Took the screen protector off and the phone is basically new. I checked out the battery health and it's at 100% capacity. I agree that Woot can sell garbage (bought a vacuum that basically fell apart in a week after the return window).
