I've been looking for a Ryzen 7 mini pc for a while and found this at a lower price than on Amazon. I've seen other SD posts for GMKtec pc's so I assume they're decent. I know this ships from China and will take longer than Amazon Prime. Maybe that's ok for some people. Anyway, figured I'd share.

I posted about this deal on another site a week or so ago. At the time the choice day discount codes were available - bringing it down to something like $320. Choice day has just finished but I'd suggest checking out discount code sites to see if any are working. The codes frequently change. I think there may be some $25 off codes for new users. But yeah, the seller is legit, GMK is legit.

There's a Firebat minipc, same cpu, ram but only 512gb ssd for $360 on Amazon if u don t want 2 wait or go 4 China delivery source

Ryzen 7 5700 should be under $300 on Amazon, even 5800 drop below 300 once in a while.

I think the main difference is the integrated graphics (680M vs Vega 8) which got a major upgrade with the 6XXX series; the 680M is about 100% (2X) faster. But the 7735HS is basically a straight rebrand of the 6800H which has the same 680M iGPU.

Yeah, I actually pulled the trigger on this one because I needed something quickly. The case style isn't really my jam, but the reviews said you can disable the rainbow LEDs on the fan and it'll be mounted under my desk so I won't see it anyway.

Am I right it comes with one DIMM slot populated so I can just drop in a second 16GB stick?

Just wipe it with your own Window. Heck, I use Linux.
This is a great mini PC running Proxmox. Also, HP, Dell, Lenovo and other PC manufacturers had malware shipped with their PC... this is nothing new.
What do you think of all those bloated software are doing?
Just install your own Windows. I never use pre-boot windows even from big PC manufacturers, or run slim windows without bloated software.
