Be careful with the 48v 4pack. It's misleading, you get 4x 12v battery to make your own 48v.

I use lifepo4 batteries for my trolling motor. Two connected in series for 24v. They perform amazing because they stay at full voltage until their dead unlike lead acid which will stop turning the prop at about 50%

These are not the same as the lithium batteries found in small electronics.

Small note, these can't be charged when below the freezing point, it will damage them. Without looking I highly doubt these have cold temperature protection. It's not a big deal unless you plan to use these in the cold.

I am replacing my batteries in a Cyberpower UPS that is 12v 9ah and F2 connectors. Anyone have experience replacing traditional batteries with these in a UPS?

If you have an idea of how long you'll need a back up power source you spend a lot less and not have to set everything up for the same piece of mind.
I don't have a sump pump so I cannot suggest a suitable capacity so you need to know how much demand your setup requires to keep your basement dry.

The battery management system (BMS) chips are supposed to regulate charging. I read some people had problems with putting LiON batteries in UPS but I think those were for LiFePO4 without a BMS. I saw on youtube somebody modified the charge settings on an APC UPS with APC software when they installed their LiFePo4 battery.

This deal is still live. It got thumbs down I think because the inverter is inefficient and it has an oddball solar charging voltage requirements (36v-60v). But even with an inefiicient inverter you're still getting of a kilowatt/hr of usable energy which can power most sump pumps for between 2-3 hours continuously). I bit on it speciffically to back up my sump pump, with the added bonus it would power my internet and work from home set up for a full day if it needed. An added bonus is if I wanted to take it camping (which I wouldn't do during the rainy season, but do plan on doing in the future) it will work fine that purpose.

May I ask on the info of your setup? Just want an emergency solution for sump dump during power outage. It doesn't happened often here (about 1-2x/year on average) but still want a backup just in case. Thank you!

This is a great application for this. They are deeper cycle than lead acid and have a more consistent voltage. What they lack vs lead acid is the crank amps which you wouldn't need for this application.

The best deal is probably the 150 Ah battery at .$13/ Wh, with metal case.

Thats actually a slick deal- I built my 7.6kw bank out of 3.2v prismatics and it came to $.13/Wh, and thats not including cost of BMS and shipping from China.

I cant vouch for these guys BMS though. I would do some research and check how its balancing when you start stringing these up in series. Lot of BMS also have trouble with low temp cutoffs.

Doubt this has the correct voltage to fully charge it unless it already came with LFP
