Be careful with the 48v 4pack. It's misleading, you get 4x 12v battery to make your own 48v.

I use lifepo4 batteries for my trolling motor. Two connected in series for 24v. They perform amazing because they stay at full voltage until their dead unlike lead acid which will stop turning the prop at about 50%

These are not the same as the lithium batteries found in small electronics.

Small note, these can't be charged when below the freezing point, it will damage them. Without looking I highly doubt these have cold temperature protection. It's not a big deal unless you plan to use these in the cold.

I am replacing my batteries in a Cyberpower UPS that is 12v 9ah and F2 connectors. Anyone have experience replacing traditional batteries with these in a UPS?

I think this statement may be confusing, ALL 48 V battery applications are running multiple battery cells in series. Lead Acid batteries have cells that have ~2V so a "12V" battery is comprised of 6 cells or 24 cells for 48V

Thank you! Going to need to experiment with this program I think. System ran fine under battery power and shut down when it got below a certain point, but I think I let the batteries drain too far and now the UPS is giving me a battery fault. Might have to manually recharge the battery using my noco charger and use that APC-Fix program to recalibrate the percentages.

Just an announcement anyone should know. Any lithium battery has the possibility to catch fire when charging. Its not common, but is a possibility. So never leave one and walk away while it is charging. More care is also needed to store them at proper storage voltages too. Just an fyi.

One potential issue will be your battery gauge. Lead bateries SOC is typically measured by voltage drop, and not actually battery gauge. As result, your UPS will likely be staying at 100% for long time than rapidly drops to 30 when battery is almost depleted. May or may not be a problem for you m

the 1800 inverter is starting to cost more than batteries.
=D

There is no reason lifepo4 powerstations should be over 3x cost per watt.
I want to know which powerstation lets you swap batteries with these batteries I would instantly buy it.
otherwise might want to create my own.

190 pure sine wave inverter found not modified.

the two most expensive parts
others are at most 20-50 bucks and will need a cheap heat resistant/good ventilation case for inverter and its done.

500-550 dollars for 1800 watts doable.

luckily unlike ev these are lifepo4 batteries so its less likely to catch on fire like a tesla
I dont know why ev are not lifepo4 yet regular people shouldn't buy any ev until then this includes all phev and hybrids there is basically no excuse.

It's mostly due to the lower energy density of LFP vs L-i and the US market premium on range. Most EVs in China are using LFP, and I imagine we'll see EVs in the US start to adopt LFP for the increased safety and lower price, despite lower energy density.

Sure they can. You just have to charge each one individually to keep in balance.

Many have a BMS for overheat, overcharge protections. Some have cold charge protection, but cheaper ones do not.
