I am not an RC car expert, but will caution... This is a great deal for this car and it will be a lot of fun for you; however, when (not if) you break something on this, you will likely be unable to find replacement parts. (Unless, does anyone know if parts are available for this?) I purchased a popular model Traxxas RC car similar to this a few years ago. One of the first times I used it, I hit a curb and it broke something that connects the front wheel. I was able to order the part from Traxxas and was back using the car the next weekend. If you buy this, and I'm right about parts, I recommend not using it near anything it could run into.

Got it today for $94 all in. My kid has a street RC but really wants something that can handle offf road... Dirt.. Sand. Hoping this is it.

Taking a shot here at this price. Will use it on local baseball fields away from curbs and trees
