- I have this tool. It's good value, and I like it. It's smaller than a Pica pencil, and weighs the same.
- It is fine for light duty jobs like unscrewing the back of an appliance to replace the batteries, but not much more than that. From Stanley's web site [stanleytools.com]: "Ideal for toy assembly, battery compartments, eyeglasses, electronics, and cell phones".
- It looks like Milwaukee are releasing a similar screwdriver next month [toolguyd.com], though I'm sure it will cost a lot more than $2.28
- The Home Depot price is $2.28, not $2.50. And that's the regular price that I paid before Christmas.
- Since this tool is not on sale, that "$9.99" number is a complete fabrication. I think the poster should explain why they did that. Not cool at all.

I'm just waiting for someone to complain that this $2.28 screwdriver is "junk" because it was useless for mounting their oak front door on its hinges.

"they are plastic China junk" => Oh really? They are well made, and they work fine for me. "Junk" in what respect? Be very specific.
"I know the use" => Really? From Stanley's web site, this is their intended use [stanleytools.com]: "Ideal for toy assembly, battery compartments, eye glasses, electronics, and more". If you are truly claiming that this screwdriver does not meet its intended use then be very specific in how it falls short. (To be fair I don't think that any of the heads are small enough for most glasses, but doesn't make the tool "junk".)
This is a highly rated pocket screwdriver with four magnetic heads that comes with a lifetime warranty (no proof of purchase needed) for $2.28! I have to wonder why a few folks here are so zealous in attacking this tool without providing any specific criticism.
