Needs to be pictured with a banana for scale, not floating in a white void.

I own a few of these, and they're great for electronics. Especially useful for people in the AV field, who work on computer hardware, or who just need to replace their laptop battery or upgrade RAM. Someone complained that they won't handle torque—but these are not designed for torque applications. These are precision screwdrivers. They hold up well for their intended purpose. Different tools for different jobs.

Reading the reply to the question regarding 12. You only get 1 not 12.

I went to homedepot.com in order to compose a defense of sd staff, thinking that perhaps hd claimed the retail price is $10. Alas there is no mention of $10 on homedepot.com that I could see.

This is 1 step above a toy. When I try 5o use it, would usually result in failure and would have to get a real tool

Awesome. I keep hearing Stanleys are all the rage — my kids are gonna love these.
Yea, I'm sure your kids would rather have this POS screwdriver than a PS5, lol

I have a couple in my home and gifted a few. They are great for their intended purpose. Changing out toy batteries and using on other small screws.

These are junk.....Stanley name means nothing as pertains to these.
They are not junk. Stanley is selling a well designed tool for $2.28 that is specifically intended for simple tasks like removing an electrical wall plate or opening a battery compartment on an appliance.

I'm just waiting for someone to complain that this $2.28 screwdriver is "junk" because it was useless for mounting their oak front door on its hinges.

Do you have these? I do, they are plastic China junk. I know the use.

This thing sucks. Not worth $1. I junked it and got the stubby Klein screwdriver instead.

I don't see a discount at all. It looks to me like $2.50 is just the regular price on this thing.

"Do you have these?" => Yes, I own two.

"they are plastic China junk" => Oh really? They are well made, and they work fine for me. "Junk" in what respect? Be very specific.

"I know the use" => Really? From Stanley's web site, this is their intended use [stanleytools.com]: "Ideal for toy assembly, battery compartments, eye glasses, electronics, and more". If you are truly claiming that this screwdriver does not meet its intended use then be very specific in how it falls short. (To be fair I don't think that any of the heads are small enough for most glasses, but doesn't make the tool "junk".)

This is a highly rated pocket screwdriver with four magnetic heads that comes with a lifetime warranty (no proof of purchase needed) for $2.28! I have to wonder why a few folks here are so zealous in attacking this tool without providing any specific criticism.
