What's the benefit over Amazon?
I picked up a refurbished Canon R10 two months ago for $499. Literally arrived looking brand-new. The auto focus is fast and it excels with a fast shutter speed as well. I've been very pleased. It doesn't have built-in frame stabilization or a fully weather sealed body, but it is lighter and more compact as the tradeoff, and most shooters aren't going to be doing crazy weather photos as it is.
Almost went back to Sony but for that price with a lens included it was too good of a value. I purchased some additional lenses for great prices during sales and ebay listings.
If you have their store card, no taxes.
However you would lose potential credit card purchase benefits.
