The stroller is a cry once, buy once type purchase. It's an amazing stroller and can easily last through the years if you plan on having 2+ kids. If you travel the UppaBaby travel system also covers these items via their warranty, which is great peace of mind.

Ordered this earlier and was able to schedule delivery for after the rain later this week in SoCal. Was planning on just the stroller in this color but couldn't pass up the deal for $51 more for the car seat even if it wasn't the one I planned to get.

These last so long that I don't really know the benefit of buying new (the stroller at least). One nice thing about the vista is that it can be converted to a double stroller.

Not trying to TC here. Many find these as good strollers.

Having had 2 newborns in the last 3 years I will say that cheaper strollers also work fine. I bought a $100 set from Walmart with similar pieces (of lower quality) and it had zero problems.

If I could do it over I would probably just buy used stuff as well. I am now learning that once the kid outgrows an item you just want to get rid of it. I gave that walmart set away as the kids dont use strollers now for instance.

100%. Used marketplaces are flooded with <$500 vista v2 strollers and a lot of the sellers will throw in whatever extras they have as well.

The mesa max is bulky as hell so it makes sense they're trying to bundle it to get rid of inventory. This is a solid sale if you were already planning to get the Mesa but otherwise most people will do much better off finding a lighter weight car seat and getting a used vista separately.

Can anyone speak to getting the Vista even though you're only having one child? Does it still make sense to get the Vista? I see so many of the features of this stroller involve multiple children scenarios.

Is there another stroller that maintains the same level of quality and finish of this one, while being cheaper for single kid scenarios?

Sorry, new dad to be and there's so much crap to buy in such a short timeframe! Trying to wrap my head around it all.

A situation where buying this would make a lot of sense, is if buying as a group baby shower present to someone, or a parent buying it as a present for their adult kids who are having a baby. In situations like that, used stroller may not fly too well especially with the missues. We got out Vista v2 as a present from MIL and have been using it almost daily for last 3 years without any issues. You are 100% right about the real deal being on FB marketplace.

I believe the Uppababy Cruz is the cheaper version made for single kid scenarios. Looks like you can get the Cruz + Mesa Max for $959 on UPPAbaby's website

Agree that the UPPAbaby Cruz is good for single kid. However, it's not that much lighter and is mainly just slightly smaller. If I only planned for one child, I would go with the Nuna Mixx Next or Bugaboo Dragonfly. I chose the UPPAbaby Vista mainly because of the plan for a second child later.

Expecting twins, so grabbed this bundle over the weekend and added a second Mesa Max, that's on sale. Came out to just over $1400, after taxes. It's too bad i can't get rid of the bassinet, no intentions of using it with the stroller. Anyone use this combo for twins??

It's worth it. Baby is happy... Even though wallet is not.

I bought both of these at full price from Amazon, thankfully not too long ago so I will be returning those when I get this bundle (Amazon will get some factory-sealed products back and I get my discount, everyone wins). Just a shame they don't price match anymore.

For context, we are planning to have 3+ kids and know this stroller will grow with them (will grab the ride-along platform when one is old enough). We wanted the bassinet attachment so we could go for short walks to get some sunshine, and it's practically free if you already wanted the Vista.

The Mesa Max is big, and I considered going down to the Chicco Keyfit 35, but for $50 it's worth keeping now. For size, I am 6'5" and the Mesa Max does NOT fit behind my driving or passenger position in our Model Y, luckily my wife is shorter so we can make it work.

The ease of use of the Uppababy system (effortless attach/detach/unfold) had us on board even at full price, I think the value of this deal is incredible for those who can make the Vista and Max work.

Eh, the only difference between using UPPAbaby car seat and other brands is a $50 set of adapters that take literally 5 seconds to install/remove. We didn't like how heavy the Mesa was and liked some of the other features of the Nuna Pipa Lite RX so we went with that and no regrets so far. But we also know the light weight car seat won't matter in a few months when the baby is most of the weight, but for now it's nice

100% agree. Bought a used Vista, so smooth and well built- thing was a tank, lasted through 3 kids.
One great thing is that you can buy replacement parts from Uppababy. Wheel rubber was well worn, bought new wheels and fabrics then passed on to sister who was expecting.
