not sure you're serious but even reading only the numbers:
14" screen vs 15" (and thus numerical pad)
16 vs 32GB RAM
256gb vs 1TB SSD
and that one's a refurb...

For the price this deal might be a steal with that processor and RAM. The 250 nits screen is the only major underwhelming feature.

Maybe for some people. I've got a laptop with a 250 nit screen in front of me right now and I have the brightness set to 10%. If you don't plan to use it outdoors or with a window facing the screen, more brightness may not be necessary.

I can't find anything about the screen being glossy or matte. Such a dim screen plus glare could make it unusable in some situations.

Would the dim screen be a non issue indoors?

Can the integrated GPU handle basic games like fortnight, and apex legends??

Seems like a great price, tempted to pick it up for a high school senior headed to college next year

Probably couldn't handle basic games, at least it'll be really low res. I'd keep it to just non-gaming tasks, 32 GB of RAM means you can have a lot of apps open which is nice.

Yeah you start seeing dGPUs for $50-100 more.

It looks like an OK deal. The RAM and SSD are good enough for anybody out of the box.

Looks like a good deal, only bummer is that you need to cut the UPC off the box in order to get the $100 rebate, which would make returning the laptop near impossible.

seems like too good of a deal to pass, despite my old laptop still doing well after a mandatory SSD upgrade. fingers crossed I'll like the trackpad, that is a major no-no on lots of laptops
