Although this is a couple years old, it is still one of their top-of-the-line commercial mowers with metal deck.

For reference, the trimmer is going for $380 just by itself

Have a feeling Makita would deny the rebate because it's from eBay store and not directly from the vendor, even though it's technically the same store. Anybody try this before and have it go through?

Per the T&C you need to provide a receipt with physical address. Which when you buy it from eBay the factory authorized outlet address is in the receipt email

I agree with the others. This is a great deal if and only if the rebate is honored. And I say this as one of those people who got in on yesterday's $250 deal. The mower in this deal is significantly better than what I bought in yesterday's deal!

That said, I'm not going to roll the dice here. Good luck to anybody who does! It in theory sounds like it could work, but as others said, seems risky. I always assume the worst with rebates.
