I just got this email today from Consumers. They have a deal on the Honeywell PowerPlus HEPA Air Purifier for Medium/Large Rooms for only $24.99 after instant rebates. This is the price without any rebates, except the instant rebates applied at checkout.
Seems like a great price, if you qualify. YMMV.
Enjoy!

I'd like to just get another Winix 5300-2 if anything, same as what I have now.
The few reviews out there on this Honeywell seem to indicate it's kind of loud.

You don't NEED OEM filters. Quit being an OEM fanboy. It's a waste of money. A charcoal filter is a charcoal filter and companies that make replacement HEPA filters use the correct material to filter down to that micron size. Honeywell filters are manufactured in China, Korea, and Portugal. Probably the same companies that make offbrand. Or at least they get their filter material from the same companies. There are actually companies in the United States that make aftermarket replacement filters for many products if you look.
Then you didn't get the deal. ๐ You probably need to select your type of service first before adding. I saw it at first as well.
