Worked for me, but I entered the promo code that went along with signing up for the emails. There wasn't an activation button to hit on mine.

It's not a true worm drive like Skil, it's Milwaukee's version of that - "worm style saw" - but it has a lot of benefits for some people. Personally I prefer it

Pros: it's blade left, easier to control and aim, more leverage, easier to see your cut line, don't have to reach over the piece to cut a line (think OSB), more torque and power

Cons: better used with cut offs to the left and good stock on the right. motor could be in the way if using as a track saw. hand is on the blade side if cutting with a speed square

I have had (2) for about 6months that get constant use and they are rock solid.
I've heard more bad things about the 12ah's.
