Of course, I already have a DCF923, so I don't need this regardless. I mostly came on here to say that this tool is freaking awesome... So handy for all the typical socket work (lag screws, bolts on cars, etc)--works way better (and is smaller) than sticking an adapter on my impact driver.
I paired this with the DCF891 for the (imo) perfect 1-2 punch. But the 891 will likely be waaaay more than I will ever need--I haven't even used it yet! So far, the 923 has handled everything I've needed.
It seems like it's a good price given the search results I see on slickdeals

If you can't figure it out with this info, I'm not sure what to tell you...
May try to resell the battery on FB marketplace for like $120 or $140 before returning it.
