This is a re-packaging of Super Monkey Ball 1+2 on the GameCube. People familiar with those games have reported that the game physics in this re-release are not faithful to the tightly tuned GameCube originals, which is a real shame.
Bonus fun fact: these games were also ported to PS2 back in the day, but the framerate was cut in half--down to a measly 30fps, which really cuts into the heart of what should be a super responsive, buttery-smooth presentation.
So, the definitive experience remains the original GameCube classics. If you don't own a GameCube/Wii but you DO own a PC or Xbox Series console, don't despair: the Dolphin emulator has your back.
Played on Gamecube over ten years ago,
It was pretty fun back then. It's so old now.
Thanks. That was it I guess. I don't know/remember why it was better on the GC, but we bought the PS version maybe last year, barely played and traded it in.

Another guy mentioned that they nerfed the FPS on the PS version to 30 fps.
For a sandbox physics game like this more fps made more sense on the GC.

Also a Wii U that's hacked and has a GC adapter works.
