Restocking fee? No thanks. I'll wait until costco sells it, in 2026.
By then AI will have taken over the world though, and they will be rolling out updated versions of humans. Though Costco will of course sell us in bulk… which is nice.

Welp I ordered one. Went Slate Blue with 1 TB, 7 Ultra with 32 GB ram (they have options for customization). $1267 after coupon. Not bad for a 2-1 either those specs. Now I just have to wait a month (will be the longest month of my life but can't wait).
Oh yeah, I thought you were saying there was a zenbook flip for same price. I went with the HP, but I'm sure both are very comparable and the 2-1 will be useful to watch movies etc on glamping trips (RV trailer) with my kids.
I bought a Spectre x360 a few years ago and the keyboard is intermittently not working. Some keys don't register and I have to basically spam them until they do.
Looked into trying to get it fixed, but the cost of fixing a 2 in 1 laptop's keyboard is pretty costly where even the repair shop recommended I just get a new laptop. Apparently this is more common in 2 in 1 laptops than one would think due to the construction of combining a tablet screen and keyboard.
This is only a heads up from my personal experience and I'm not trying to shit on the laptop, as it was a great laptop up until things started malfunctioning.

I never buy a new laptop without multi-year warranty. HP offers up to 5 year warranties.
I have this laptop. It benchmarks as good as or better than the 780, but real life performance is all over the place. It's a great chip that just needs more work on its drivers.

But it only ships in late March.
