CT quality has gone way down. A lot of their stuff is now made in China. I'm not anti China nor saying that all Chinese made stuff is bad but in this case, their Chinese made stuff is a pale imitation of what they used to sell. The most obvious example of this is their ties. The old toes were robust and thickly woven. The new ones feel like they used the cheapest thinnest silk possible, and then sprayed it with some kind of thickener.

My skin is super sensitive. In the past, I was able to wear CT poplin shirts or ones with Tencell. However, in the last couple of years, even their poplin shirts are so itchy. I ordered 7 shirts during this sale. All of them are stiff and itchy. I have to wear a base layer just to wear their shirts. It's ok during the winter, but my area's summer is 110F. Anyone in similar situation have any luck picking out soft shirts?

Oxford was the only material I liked from my batch, wrinkling wasn't too bad on mine. Their twill and poplin are mid IMO, they just feel like a cheaper brand shirt.

Agreed - and what's funny is that when politely confronting in-store sales associates about this fact upon returning them, they pretend "I have no idea what you're talking about"...

Lesson learned from this besides CT's declining quality is that I need to stay alert for the shirt spec "two-ply" from now on. Simplifies the problem, and well worth the slight reduction in breathability if still 100% cotton.
