This set was just posted a month ago for $50. They are now $39.99 at Menard's. Just purchased a set. They were $57.91 after tax, processing fees, and shipping.

I usually buy CMT when I need a forstner bit in a specific metric size and I've always been happy with the results. With that said, the reviews on this specific set are spotty, some mentioning poor machining. Keep in mind, this is a value set and you shouldn't expect perfect machining...but deep gouges in the cutting surfaces would be unacceptable. Buyer beware but at this price it's worth taking the chance on IMO.

It is still valid on sale items:

"...items purchased on sale prior to and continue to be on sale during the 11% sale qualify for the price adjustment."

If the sale had ended, then the adjustment rebate wouldn't work.

Thanks for the heads up and repped. All sales used to end with the end of the ad prior to the 11% ad period and now what they call the weekly special sale prices go on for many weeks. Suppose this takes care of purchases that would be returned and rebought during the 11% period.
