WARNING! I just spoke with Ego and they told me this company is NOT an authorized seller for Ego products and therefore you will not be covered under the Ego warranty if you purchase from them.

Also, on the factoryauthorizedoutlet website under warranty information, they do not list Ego as a company that they warranty. (see link below).

And finally, the ratings for factoryauthorizedoutlet are very poor, with some people reporting they were sent broken or used items. But other than all that, it is a great price.

Here is my review from the previous deal $468 for this model with two 7.5 gen 2 batteries (not Gen 3 with the fuel gauge)

https://slickdeals.net/f/17135779-ego-power-21-snt2103-56-volt-lithium-ion-cordless-single-stage-snow-blower-w-peak-power-7-5ah-battery-ego-snt2103-468?v=1&src=SiteSearch

Got 2 good uses in this week and will give my review. I am all in on the Ego system and this is my 7th tool. As far as the batteries I think it uses one completely then the other so not in tandem to possibly generate more power. Hard to tell as you can't see the batteries when their compartment is covered with snow but when I put them on my chargers one was red and the other still fully charged. They lasted as expected but when it gets bogged down you can here the motor strain and thus drain the batteries faster.

Almost 60 years old but in good/great shape and have never used a snowblower before so there was a learning curve. Snow was 6" wet and heavy. This model is not self propelled and going uphill on my slick driveway was a challenge as the machine gets heavy with packed wet slush. I ended up only plowing downhill and then walking back up top in the previous cleared path. It gets down to the ground perhaps too good as sometimes it would get stuck on uneven sidewalk cracks. I see Ego sell boots/skis aftermarket to resolve this. It leaves a clean path with no missed spots but gets clogged easily and rapidly with wet snow.

I think this model will work great with powdery snow. It was a good workout and saved so much time compared to a shovel especially on my 150 foot walkway. Maneuverability is poor especially in tight spots. I would not recommend this model unless you live in an area that doesn't get wet heavy snow and/or have a flat driveway. I live close to the Atlantic Ocean so when we get snow it is often wet more often than not. I will be selling it on FB without the batteries and upgrading to the 2 stage tool only for sure.

This is a great deal. Batteries alone are worth that much. I've had this for 7-8 seasons now and the 7.0 batteries are still going strong. Can get through my entire driveway on one charge. By the time it snows again for a 2nd pass, batteries are recharged. In Chicago so we get both the light and fluffy as well as the wet and heavy snow and this snowblower does well with both.
I've never had a gas snowblower so can't make any comparisons. But I tried both Snow Joe and Greenworks Electric and neither were even close to this Ego Snowblower.

FWIW I've ordered from them many times over the years with no issues. They are an authorized Milwaukee Tool seller and frequently have nice deals through their ebay store that I've taken advantage of.

How does being an authorized Milwaukee Tool Seller help if you are buying an Ego product?

Great deal, but I am nearly certain Ego only warranties sales from authorized dealers. $400 is a lot of money for a roll of the dice. Also just noticed Amazon has it for $499.
The one sold on Amazon is from the 3rd party seller MaxTools, which again is not an authorized Ego seller.

From the Ego website,

"This warranty applies only to the original purchaser from an authorized EGO retailer..."

I probably was lucky. I bought a used one from a neighbor and it broke. I called Ego and gave them the serial number. They could not verify when it was purchased but said that's the warranty was expiring that month and authorized one time repair for free anyway.

Going for it. Let's hope it turns out better than the Christmas 2023 ebike. Like prior posts, the 2 batteries alone, make this a very slick deal. Thanks OP.

I got this exact set from woot.com a couple years ago. For the $400 price, it's excellent. Only drawback is that rubber auger struggles to chip away at icey snow. Luckily you can actually purchase just the metal auger from the higher tier model and it swaps right in. I also recommend getting the skids from ebay. It helps keep the wear and tear down on the body.

I have brought many products from Ego but I never heard of their factory outlets. Anyway, wouldn't it be Ego Factory Outlet?

This is not an ego factory outlet, the company selling this is is no way affiliated with ego and they are not an authorized ego seller. Anyone buying this will not have an ego warranty.

Where do you see a list of online authorized retailers? I can't pull them up at https://egopowerplus.com/store-locator

Pulled the trigger a bit ago just before this went FP.

I waffled a bit since it's most likely done snowing here this season.

The sad thing is, now that I have (what I consider) sufficient battery quantities, I'll probably have a difficult time avoiding other Ego bare tool deals.

Edit: keep in mind that this is listed as new and Acme Tools sells the refurbished version of this with 2x 5.0 Amp hour batteries for $449 - if they even had any in stock. Lowest I've ever seen from them over the years was 10% off that price.
