WARNING! I just spoke with Ego and they told me this company is NOT an authorized seller for Ego products and therefore you will not be covered under the Ego warranty if you purchase from them.

Also, on the factoryauthorizedoutlet website under warranty information, they do not list Ego as a company that they warranty. (see link below).

And finally, the ratings for factoryauthorizedoutlet are very poor, with some people reporting they were sent broken or used items. But other than all that, it is a great price.

Here is my review from the previous deal $468 for this model with two 7.5 gen 2 batteries (not Gen 3 with the fuel gauge)

https://slickdeals.net/f/17135779-ego-power-21-snt2103-56-volt-lithium-ion-cordless-single-stage-snow-blower-w-peak-power-7-5ah-battery-ego-snt2103-468?v=1&src=SiteSearch

Got 2 good uses in this week and will give my review. I am all in on the Ego system and this is my 7th tool. As far as the batteries I think it uses one completely then the other so not in tandem to possibly generate more power. Hard to tell as you can't see the batteries when their compartment is covered with snow but when I put them on my chargers one was red and the other still fully charged. They lasted as expected but when it gets bogged down you can here the motor strain and thus drain the batteries faster.

Almost 60 years old but in good/great shape and have never used a snowblower before so there was a learning curve. Snow was 6" wet and heavy. This model is not self propelled and going uphill on my slick driveway was a challenge as the machine gets heavy with packed wet slush. I ended up only plowing downhill and then walking back up top in the previous cleared path. It gets down to the ground perhaps too good as sometimes it would get stuck on uneven sidewalk cracks. I see Ego sell boots/skis aftermarket to resolve this. It leaves a clean path with no missed spots but gets clogged easily and rapidly with wet snow.

I think this model will work great with powdery snow. It was a good workout and saved so much time compared to a shovel especially on my 150 foot walkway. Maneuverability is poor especially in tight spots. I would not recommend this model unless you live in an area that doesn't get wet heavy snow and/or have a flat driveway. I live close to the Atlantic Ocean so when we get snow it is often wet more often than not. I will be selling it on FB without the batteries and upgrading to the 2 stage tool only for sure.

This is a great deal. Batteries alone are worth that much. I've had this for 7-8 seasons now and the 7.0 batteries are still going strong. Can get through my entire driveway on one charge. By the time it snows again for a 2nd pass, batteries are recharged. In Chicago so we get both the light and fluffy as well as the wet and heavy snow and this snowblower does well with both.
I've never had a gas snowblower so can't make any comparisons. But I tried both Snow Joe and Greenworks Electric and neither were even close to this Ego Snowblower.

Obviously will never be as good as 2 stager, but let me tell you this thing is actually impressive haha. We got about 15+ inches of heavy snow in one go. Went out twice clean 6+ inches and this got the job done easy. I even used it to clear up the nasty build up snow plows leave at the end of the driveway. I think my best run was clearing 4 driveway ends, and my entire driveway on the two 7.5ah batteries(had one bar left on both)! Impressive
You have this model or the one with the steel augur? I have this exact same model and unless our definitions of "heavy snow" are different, I don't see how this is possible.

I posted my review of this model earlier on the thread .

Just received mine, box is completely mangled, interior looked like it had footprints on it, and batteries completely dead (who knows for how long). Charging the batteries up now, and going to give them a go in my other EGO products around the yard. I'm guessing these batteries aren't going to hold much of a charge and I'll need to return this.

Thanks for the feedback.
Also in the mid-atlantics too here & understand exactly them NC lows that come up the atlantic coast into Cold fronts = wet heavy snow!

Looks like I am keeping my Ariens gas snow blower until I can budget enough for an Ego self propelled 21". But will still take this deal for the 2 batteries feding my Ego mower.

Received mine today via Fedex. Looks great, not used from what I can tell. Both of my batteries are the older style (no gauge) and were manufactured in June 2022. I fired it up just to make sure it worked and all seems ok. I was also able to register it on the EGO website just now.

I called ego yesterday and they specifically told me this company is NOT an authorized ego seller. Also, jherms commented a few comments ago that he was also told by ego this is not an authorized company. And ego also lists their authorized sellers on their website (see link below) and if you put in the zipcode of factory authorized outlet (or maxtools) which is 91764 you will find they are NOT listed as an ego seller. And also, on both Factoryauthorizedoutlet and maxtools if you to the page that says warranty information ego is not even listed there.

So I'm not sure why you have to go around and spread false information here that isn't true.

Do you have other Ego tools that you could use the 7.5 batteries with like the leaf blower, chainsaw, or mower? If so, this is a good price for 2 of the 7.5 batteries. Then you could sell the snowblower to bring down the overall cost.

Mine just arrived. Will charge batteries and test somehow. I might just mow my lawn today as it's sunny and probably the hottest day of the year so far. Two birds one stone and all. I doubt we'll get any more snow this season.

Box was a tiny bit beat up but nothing too egregious.

What was the manufacture date on your batteries? Thank you in advance.

I was going to edit my post but since you asked: both are Apr 2022.

And both started with the 2nd light blinking on my rapid chargers. By the time I checked the app (maybe 3-4 min later) it said 30%.

Edit: they charged fine and both ran fine in my blower (leaf, not snow.).

I'll test the snow blower later, but everything seems fine to me.

Edit2: snow blower seems to be working exactly as expected (well... considering I don't have any snow to test it on, the auger spins, the lights work, the chute spins, and the speed control changes the sound of the spinning auger, so hopefully it's changing the speed - I'm not going to stick my tongue on it to try to verify or anything.)

Actually, the other person also said that ego originally told them maxtool was not an authorized dealer and then emailed back 3 days later and said they were. I did call back ego and spoke to the customer service representative and they told me they were just notified by the corporate office a day or 2 ago that maxtool is now an authorized seller, which was why they originally said they weren't. I was not spreading false information, I was repeating exactly what I was told by ego.

The batteries I received were manufactured July 2021. The package looked more like an open box item. Or maybe it was just at the very bottom of a huge pile. Batteries were dusty/dirty and same thing with the charger. The snow blower still had the advertisement banner on it, and I did not see and nicks or rust. But for the price, its still a good deal.

I already have the two stage snow blower, so getting extra batteries this cheap is great.

Lmao, Are you new in US? Maxtools will be long gone by that time. Good luck dragging them in the court when the link and landing page wont exist anymore.😆
MaxTool has been around since the 80's and they ARE an authorized dealer. Easy there tiger.
