In theory you could, the issue is that these codes you are getting from cd keys could get used up while waiting to use them. They tell you that any codes bought by them or other grey market providers that the codes should be activated right away. And their customer service on codes that have been already used especially months from the original purchase are not great.

In theory could one buy 12 cards and just enter a code once a month? It isn't stacking, more like renewing every 30 or so days.

ive been buying these codes for years now and they are legit. Though im not sure i would buy a bunch of them and hold onto them, too much of a risk of them possibly getting used or expiring or whatever

You thought wrong dude. Gamepass has 34 million subscribers. I probably would not have bought my xbox series x if there was no gamepass. I would never pay $30 to $70 for a single overpriced video game ever. Who cares what Jobs said decades ago.

oh yeah , did I think wrong? how many smartphone users are there? how many pc and notebook users are there? how many games players and game owners are there in the world?

There are 300+ million people in the usa alone, 7-8 billion people in the world...34 million is almost nothing, nor do the games ms has in their catalog come free, they are losing money on that sucker and hoping to turn it profitable some day, it may in fact happen some day ...

Yeah, you did think wrong. Microsoft has already stated that Game Pass is turning a profit. Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean others don't. Many people find Game Pass an amazing service. Some people are just so full of themselves lol

I'd been doing the conversion thingie past few years and now my sub is finally expiring next month so I'm looking to do similar again...not seeing anything on conversion deals lately, are they not a thing now? Appreciate any info...am just now starting to look into things in prep for my expiration.


EDIT: eh found my answer...looks like it's a 2/3 conversion now, which isn't horrible but not nearly as slick

if sony xbox and pc powers like steam and gamepass could collude together and make everything digital license only (no resale) and/or subscribe only, then it'd work. But what happens when you got Nintendo selling physical media and not even participating in subscribe monthly to video games type models?

What happens is you get Nintendo with the biggest selling system of all time and made more videogame profits in the last 5 years than any of the other market powers, they won this last gen/time period with EASE nodApplausePeace

cartels and racketeering practices only work if everyone secretly agrees to the same market practices ehehhehe
