this model is farking garbage. it has issues handshaking with other usb-c chargers correctly which makes it take FOREVER to charge sometimes. like there is zero reason a 10k power bank should take 10 hours to charge when plugged into a 90W MBP charger using a thunderbolt cable. multiple fast chargers and cables, same result. lots of reviews complaining about the same issue.
the 10,000mah model with the built in usb-c cord does not have this issue for whatever reason.
yeah, i got one of each for my wife. they're almost identical in size and design, i wasn't sure if the cord would be helpful or annoying so i was like why_not_both.gif. was super disappointed that they were so different.
the corded model is $45 with a $7 coupon so if you do need one get this one instead. it does do 30w output and charges quickly as well.
I call bullshit on this. Just tried it out and it charged up in 4 hours on my 65w Lenovo charger. Sounds like user error
it's always different because it's a piece of shit that doesn't handshake correctly. i explained this in my first post. sounds like you don't know how to read.
the very similar one i mentioned with the cord will charge in like an hour and a half usually from dead.
i guess enjoy having to take over twice as long to do the same thing.

10000 mAh is twice the size of the largest phone battery, what the hell are you expecting?
You have 20K+ power banks that have 60+W inputs and charge fully around 90min. 4 hours (with this device in particular) is long and that is if you are lucky.
This particular product by Anker is terrible and inherently defective. Just because it's 'Anker' doesn't make it good. They have an updated one with the cable that does charge fully in 90min. This product is just bad.
I had one of these before I returned it. I tried multiple chargers (30W+ adapters) and they all took 5-6 hours to charge. Too long, especially since it's pricey. Maybe for $10 it would be worth it… maybe.

hilarious that he thinks we are shitting on anker when everyone is literally just suggesting another of their products. the one we all suggested, according to my anker 737, charges at 31.7w and charge time is 1h25m from 0 to 100.
Probably you've fried the internals by using 90W charger. Use up to 30W chargers at the most to charge the battery pack. Lots of laptops get fried too. Usually on the USB-C ports. Some people are using overly powerful chargers and plug it in the wrong port.
No doubt people fry things by plugging cords into wrong ports, but the 90watt charger itself wouldn't really do anything. The receiving port is going to take whatever charge watts it wants, regardless even if the charger was 200 watts. The only problem from a charger is if somehow you plug a wrong charger in and supplying a wrong voltage. Poof!

No clue why, but this specific power bank has serious handshake issues. All of my other Anker products are flawless, but this one fails to charge even an Ally at full speed, even with a Thunderbolt cable rated for 100-240w.
