Just for a price point, I got the fan by itself for $20 a year ago from DTO.

The speaker kinda sucks, just beware. The fan is badass!! And the light works best as night time rest/relax/chill light. Or for bathroom use.

How long will the light run on a 1.5 ah battery?
ryobi claims 7 DAYS with 9ah battery. so with a 1.5ah battery i suppose you will get more than 1 day. given that it's an LED light, i thinks that's plausible

this seems like a great kit for camping.

Bought the set a while back… fan is a must have, from the stroller in the summer…. to the laundry room drying rack to rush a damp shirt, I think my wife uses it more then me.

Never used the speaker, looks nice sitting on the shelf…

Light is handy, can never have to many in case of power out. My kids like to play with it in their blanket forts.

I really would only need the fan. Wondering if it's worth it. Light would get some use, not much. The speaker would get about no use at all.
Maybe if you're already in the Ryobi ecosystem but you'd probably be better off just getting a rechargeable fan.
I got this one [amazon.com] last Summer and have used it for camping and travel quite a bit.

Until that non-replaceable battery dies, then the whole unit gets thrown away. Or, if the battery drains, you have to wait for recharge before using the fan again.

Rather have the Ryobi with replaceable batteries.

I didn't see a shipping charge on my invoice so they must have had a Presidents' Day free shipping sale.

I use this fan for a stroller but I like being able to replace the battery. The clamp is also a high plus to use the fan in the car or in a pull wagon.

I have the same speaker and clamp fan plus a different version of the light. I have to agree with this assessment. The speaker is suitable for emergency use but you aren't likely going to want to sit around and listen to music with it. The quality is poor and volume is low. The clamp fan is amazing and is easily my most used ryobi tool. It moves way more air that you'd expect from it's size and has an impressive battery life, too. The light I have is bigger so I can't speak to this specific one but the one I have is plenty enough to light up a living room or a tent and I've used it taking the dogs out at night when our porch light was out. While it didn't wow me like the clamp fan it's worth the money spent on it.

This is slightly off topic, but is on the topic of Ryobi tools for camping Smilie I've found the small shopvacs to be my favorite camping tool. Use it to inflate/deflate my sleeping pad, use vac bags to pack more in my limited space, and keep everything clean. Worthy upgrade.
