I see these are primarily designed for hunting & shooting. Are they also useful/safe for constant loud activities like being around wood or metal working machinery?

I own a Walker Razor Slim electronic muffs. I can't make them comfortable. Two hours into a shooting session, I start getting headaches, which instantly go away if I take the muffs off.

Neither mine nor this model support stereo sound, so you would not be able to tell where the sound is coming from and if someone is talking to you or someone else on the other side of the range, and I often turn the sound off.

I understand this is a different model and may be comfortable for someone else, but this is not an upgrade if you already own a pair of walkers. If it is your first pair, then the price is reasonable.

They make gel earpads which make a huge difference for long sessions.

I have a cheaper version of these and they just recently broke after about 10 or so uses, the sound is just cut out in one ear when trying to use active listening. Is this a common issue or did I just get unlucky?
