Fresh Foam > Hoka IMO (I have the FF More model and Bondis, so not certain about this, but if you're considering a highly cushioned shoe, worth your while).

I have the 860v13's with fresh foam and they are the best shoe I've ever walked on, ever.

Speaking as someone with flat feet and a lifetime of foot pain.

These sound like they have the same fit as the 860's (per reviews), just maybe less weather protection, so I'm picking them up

How do these compare to the 1080v12, which are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn?

I haven't personally tried these (I also wear 1080s), but from what I can tell they seem to be the stability shoe equivalent of the 1080s.

For the uninitiated - Stability shoes are made for people who have flat feet or tend to overpronate. They tend to be slightly heavier and less flexible as they use stiffer materials to provide support and force a neutral foot position. Stability shoes may or may not cause issues for neutral runners. There are several ways to find out if you need stability shoes - but probably the most reliable is to have your gait analyzed at a running store.

Better than any crap HOKA puts out. HOKA's are awful shoes in general just hype behind them.

if you want something better than bondi's look at the fresh foam more v4 for max cushion or these vongos for a firmer stability shoe

I bought based on the comments and some reviews, so I will give a review when I get it. I have a flat foot and usually run 1 half-marathon per year. I loved my Hoka One and ASICS Gel Kayano was good as well for me. Last time I bought the Reebok Floatride based on slickdeals comment and it was on point. Best walking shoe I ever bought.
