Would really appreciate some details around what store this was and add an image of the receipt as well.

Where did you find with yellow clearance tags?
Shreveport, LA Burt Kouns location. Zipcode 71106. They also had two of the self-propelled for $199 which come with the four 5AH batteries but they were in the lawn and garden displays and they couldn't locate the batteries for me so I passed. I think I will go grab another of these though. The self-propelled tends to give problems down the road anyway. Good luck everyone!

Are these easy to push in thick grass or should I just look for a self propelled. I'm vertically challenged so when I try to push forward I actually lift the rear wheels off the ground on my old craftsman gas mower

Since I will be using my receipt to apply for the blower rebate, I am hesitant to post my receipt but I did take pics of the yellow tags for you.

Just scanning through the Home Depot reviews is enough to make me "not interested".

Listed weight is 54lbs, I wonder if that includes 0, 2, or all 4 batteries. To me weight is important on non self drive mowers if you have slopes. 54 Isn't bad at all.
54pounds is right . self drive model is heavy one

Oh man I'll stick to my cheap light gasser in that case, that's a super heavy mower to not have propulsion!

1. Almost all the battery mowers that have a decent voltage and range (40v+, not 18v/20v) are heavier than the gas mowers.
2. And that's just in mulch mode. Add the catch bag and it's even heavier.
So yes, get self propelled and save your back and all from the absurdity of shoving a heavy battery maker mower around.

I have a completely flat yard ......self propelled is the best investment you can possibly make.

I don't know how you are getting 94 lbs if the bare mower is 54lbs. It comes with 4 batteries and a double charger. I weighed 2 batteries together on my food scale and got a weight of 1lb 13oz so add that to your 54lbs.
I just tried out the mower. I can't test in high thick grass right now. Mostly sparse clover and wild flowers up high. I have some oak leaves on the ground though and I filled up the bag twice packed tight with leaves. I stlll have charge on those 2 batteries and it picked up leaves great.

I'm 59 with a bad back, arthritis, and a handicapped tag.and the mower rolled easy for me.
