It would've a good deal if it were a straight discount instead of through ZipPay. Some reviews hint at questionable quality control (constant blue screens or can't get a 2nd RAM stick to work). Overall, I'd stay away.

I buy gaming PCs but do ZERO gaming on them. They're great for video editors who want to use hardware acceleration.

Looks like a decent deal to me, for the price, despite the hoops one would need to jump through. When you're cash-strapped, you do what you gotta do.

However, I would certainly be cautious when it comes to warranty, technical support, and customer service. I had never heard of Yeyian Tanto.

I know $150 is $150... but wouldn't this be worth the extra $150 to get an i7 vs. i5... and a more reliable brand?

Okay boomer.

Are gaming PCs the new avocado toast?

I bought one of their PCs a few months ago, similar set up. There were issues with the WiFi and internet. Customer service was trash. Then they wanted me to send it in. It was too much of a hassle so I just sent it back to Newegg for a full refund.

I agree, but by "cash strapped" I meant "on a limited budget," which includes people from all walks of life.

That can apply to anyone, from a teenager saving pocket money and birthday checks for their first PC to a middle-class fella who could easily afford a $2,000-3,000 build but decides to spend no more than $800.

You most definitely can both be cash strapped and live within your means, limited as they may be. And owing money doesn't make one cash strapped.

LOL! Live in the shoes of a person living in California making $20/hr and tell me you're not cash-strapped when your 1 bdrm apartment is $2500/mo and you can't afford to run the heat in the winter or A/C in the summer and a gas fill-up runs you $50+. Does that sound like the life of luxury to you?
