These usually stack with the buy one get one free offers, and triggers on the total before the free item is factored in. For example, a BOGO offer on an $18 item will generate a $36 total due, triggering the coupon. When you go to checkout, both the BOGO and $10 off will apply, making the total $8 (-$18 for one free item, -$10 for coupon).

BOGO still works. Other types of discounts only give you the discounted amount instead of full amount. A $20 discounted to $15 will only contribute $15 for triggering this type of coupon.
