Sounds great. Like some said here, treble seems higher. But bass goes plenty deep and overall music is clear.
At this price, it's a steal.
Only the exposed subwoofer on the bottom worries me. Why didn't they cover it with a grill?
The only plots I've been able to find show a ~5db bump centered around 12khz at low and mid volumes, which flattens out with compression at max volume. I wouldn't have guessed it being quite that high but it fits with what I hear listening at low, mid, and high volume. Most of my use is at low to mid volume, and it's really bright.
Subjectively, lots of people like this smiley face response curve, and it's not harsh so I guess many folks will like it, especially outside in a big space. But it's definitely not flat, more what I'd expect from a Klipsch product than H/K.
