Looks like a GSM tmobile 4G mnvo. I wonder how badly you'd get throttled.
They are bad in certain areas. Plus at times they are shady and won't send the activation pin itself… in starting. And that sends the person in an endless conversation with customer care!!!

I'm in northern CA and have been with them for 5 years now without any issues. I'm a low data user (2GB/mo plan), no call or text issues on my low budget, unlocked Motorola GSM phone. Yes CS is terrible but I have gotten acct # & PIN to port out family members to recent Visible deals. Reason I don't leave is receiving text messages works (mainly banking & credit card alerts for me) when I was in Canada, Greece, Turkey, Italy, & Israel. You can't make calls, text, or use data outside of USA, but do get text messages. I'm due for renewal soon and plan to pay for 1 year which is $120.
my experience with lyca isn't great. phone often doesn't connect and go straight to voice mail. internet, at least back in 4g LTE days, is very slow, like go back to 3G era unusable slow.
i think Mint is pretty much a better version of lyca. their internet is quite slow but is at least usable (where T mobile get around 100 mbps, my mint line next to it will get about 3mbps max). most importantly their voice call is reliable.
so far the best prepaid that i have experienced is metro pcs (thanks for the free phone deal).
