How can you take streamed Spotify and turn it into flac? Spotify is not lossless

Right, Spotify isn't lossless, but ideally you don't want to go from lossy to another lossy format. If you are looking for lossless specifically, it supports Tidal and Apple Music as well. That's just one use case, it also does video too with netflix, hulu, disney+ etc.

I do have apple music as well. But you would have to play the music to rip it? That would take years with my 12,000+ songs

Correct, the program needs to play the song to record it. You can either play it yourself or have the program record it automatically in the background so it doesn't disturb your normal pc use. I'm not sure with apple music, but I know with spotify recording there is a "10x" option where it plays the song at 10x speed in the background. So songs are saved at that speed without any distortion. I personally just setup a playlist and let it go, it goes very quickly.

I didn't see vudu, but iTunes is supported. Even if a service isn't supported, screen recording is, so you could record your screen with it then save it to the desired format.

Just tried with Youtube Music and it downloads the tracks instead of recording, so it goes really fast if you have a playlist there.
