The comments section has me with my popcorn out. But these shoes like some janitors shoes with a pride month swoosh.

Review from Runner's world magazine https://www.runnersworld.com/adva...triumph-4/

The Triumph is a high-mileage trainer that will best serve efficient runners who strike heavily on their heels and prefer a soft landing. Five separate layers of high-quality foam sit between the heel and the ground — and they work well together. The forefoot has four layers as well, so the shoe is well-balanced. Not a light shoe, Saucony keeps the Triumph from being overly heavy by sculpting out the midfoot midsole/outersole. The lack of beef permits the shoe to flex in the middle, making it best for those with no overpronation issues. Unlike many other Saucony models, the Triumph's toebox fits slightly narrow.

FYI this review is from 2007. Saucony is currently on the Triumph 21 with the 22 launching soon. This is a just a retro release I would guess. I certainly would not get these for running.

I'd have to place brown paper bags over these in order to wear them in public.

Yea these are pretty bad looking. But how good does the shoe perform?
"Lifestyle" throwback shoes that are not ideal for running. Weighs 11 ounces so again, depending on what you're looking for, is probably not the best for any distance (short or long).

I went to Road Runner sports for comfortable "running shoes" since I'm on my feet all day. The triumph 20 was the model I thought was best (for me). Hands down best shoes I've worn, paired with a softer insole (the insole they provide is fine, but I need better). I bought two other pairs (the older triumph 19 on clearance after that), all are great for being soft running shoe.

Great shoe if on your feet all day but the colors are cringe. If you run on nature trails these are kind of a pain because mud or dog 💩 can get stuck in the big gap between the front and back of the soles on the bottom. Then big chunks of mud come flying out behind you or the mud stays and makes the shoe even heavier. Having to stop and use a stick to remove mud is not my idea of fun. But indoors they'd be great at this price.

I ran in these in when they first came out in 2007. I recall them as being too soft, but with a traditional Saucony fit of snug in the heel with lots of toe box room. I also remember good ventilation. They'd been beaten with the ugly stick back then, too.
