Sonos offers a Credit Upgrade to 30% Off an Eligible Regular Price Product Purchase at Sonos.com when you follow the steps below.
Deal Instructions:
- Note: Must activate credit upgrade between February 23, 2024, at 12 AM PST to February 29, 2024, at 11:59 PM PST
Deal Instructions:
- Sign into your Sonos account.
- View the products registered to your account in the System tab. Qualifying Products that are eligible for the Upgrade Program will be clearly marked under Your Account, indicating the Discount Credit level that will be applied to your future purchase.
- Navigate to the Upgrade tab within Your Account and follow the instruction steps for each Qualifying Product. You will be directed to accept these terms & conditions in order to receive your Discount Credit.
- Your Discount Credit and the amount of your discount will be reflected and available for use anytime you are logged into the "My Account" section of sonos.com.

it's just a discount on new products for products you own and were registered to your account..

with the exception of the play5 and sonos connect.
But you get a discount on one new item purchase per eligible previous purchase that you check off, and it looks like eligible products are all from 2019 or prior. So it is targeting customers who are upgrading from older hardware, not every returning customer. Of course you could be a returning customer who is just expanding on their older system rather than "upgrading"
