The word is not here, not on the product page, not in the manual.

It uses a shitty cr2450 battery. Because F you that's why.

They could have used a real battery and it would last for years, but instead you will be replacing a $4-$6 battery every 9-12 months.

Nice price. I have one in my attic to track temperature and see how much my attic fan helps with the ventilation.

Darn I did not know they take CR2450 batteries. Looks too late to cancel my order for two, does anyone in SoCal want them? I'm getting the H5104 instead.

I only need one if I can set Google or Alexa condition to turn on my space heater if temp goes below certain level. But looks like this doesnt offer such feature. This product seem to do it but way more expensive

Correct. Looking for the same exact thing and I bought these. Can't do it. They're still handy, though.

At what point are all these products going to be supported by Matter? I'd like to connect my govee water sensors with my z wave shutoff valve without having to go through ifttt! I'm so fed up of creating intricate programs to connect my various devices!

How much does it help? The temperature stays around 110F in my attic
I think you are fine. My attic gets to about 130F in the summer months!

What shutoff valve do you use? My shutoff valve is so old, it takes a bit of elbow grease to turn the handle.

I just bought the 2-pack of them off Amazon. There's a 35% off coupon you can clip. With discount plus tax, it cost me $22.51, and they were delivered this morning. Quick, easy, and I get to support Jeff Bezos' girlfriend's cosmetic surgery addiction.

I use econet Robo. You should probably change your valve very soon. I waited like you until the last minute but then it would no longer close completely. It was a nightmare to replace at that point.

Any thoughts on this model?
https://us.govee.com/products/gov...5104-white

Seems better besides lacking the eink display.

What does everyone think?

Any issue or problem with CR2450, please shed some more light on.

I have one in the basement to check the temperature (freezing) when I use my pellet stove or heaters rather then the furnace (which is in the basement)

The problem is it's not AA or AAA. If these were the size of car keys that's one matter. But these are large enough to easily take a AA or AAA battery. Other options do take AA or AAA.

It's just a worse user experience with a button cell. I have a big box of rechargeable AA and AAA batteries I'd rather use especially for stuff around the house. Who has a bunch of button cells laying around? Who can remember which number is which size and what device uses which size?

If you're fine with dealing with that, go ahead. I do not want to deal with that and will be buying another brand's version that does take a AA or AAA battery.

I agree 100% that battery is expensive and burn through them in a heartbeat. I boxed mine up and bought inkbirds.
