About this item:
Ultra‑Comfortable: The soft, split‑leather earpads help prevent fatigue and the large size will fit comfortably around almost any set of ears. The headphones provide just enough isolation for you to easily slip away from the world and enjoy the world as your music makes it.
Well Balanced: The 50mm drivers are 25% larger than most headphone drivers, which helps them produce a solid 15Hz ~ 25kHz frequency response, with deep and rich bass, clean and sparkly highs, and expressive vocals.
Great Sound: Life is too short for audio products that don't sound great! We believe that the whole point of listening to music is to hear it as the artist intended. Our engineers and audio experts have spent countless hours listening to and comparing various headphones until we were satisfied we had found models that fit our demanding standards.

Sound is good, has a fun V-shaped signature, very good sub-bass. The pads are indeed garbage, the main mod everyone does is swap them with brainwavz xl pads(currently on sale). I've tried the pleather and sheepskin leather, the pleather has the better sound and fit. The cable is really long so the other mod if you choose is to replace the cable with a 3.5mm plug. I'd recommend an amp to power them otherwise you'll feel max volume isn't very loud.
Sound quality is good but the pads are really cheap and uncomfortable.

Did this like 2 or 3 years back (after a deal here).
Been enjoying them quite a bit.
I mostly listen to electronic and hip hop so it has a decent punch.
The ear mods are super comfy.
Fun headphones with a huge, spacious sound. Swapped the pads on mine and replaced the headphone cable with a jack as the cable that comes with them is crazy long.
I bought these headphones from New Egg in 2019 for $25 ("on sale") and they only recently stopped working (no more sound out of one ear). I also bought the XL Brainwave pads at the same time, and they've also just recently started falling apart (but they're still really super comfy). I use these for my PC, which is for watching videos and playing games. For the $50 total I paid, they were great for a few years.
Last week, I bought a pair of m50x's to replace these since I thought "hey, might as well try a real pair of headphones now"...but they're super uncomfortable (I know the pads are replacable, but the top band is also uncomfy).. Is this the universe's sign to just buy another pair of these cheap headphones and the comfy pads again??

Gotta get brainwavz pads, sheepskin is very highly recommended
I enjoy these things. Much better than any on the ear ones. And nice rich sound. You can't find anything better for 15 bucks

According to price trackers - these haven't been on sale since late 2022. Lowest price since then, $57 a year ago.
Enjoyed for over 15 years and highly recommend.
