Gave up on rayovac batterries. Old or new many have leaked acid whether being used or sitting in container.
Yup same. AA and AAA both leaked. Do not recommend.

This brand is basically Energizer, the same manufacturer. Don't listen to the naysayers, buy them.

These have a tendency to corrode and ruin your devices.

Whatever happened to the best buy generic deals at $8. Those things never leaked. They weren't the best, but I could trust them in my stuff.

A month ago I just paid $20 and change for 40-count AAA (and another $20 for 40-count AA) Duracell from Costco. Also I've not had issues in the past with Rayovac so at this price it won't hurt to have a few future-use extras for remotes, kids toys, etc.

Bought like a 20 pack of Ravovac AA back in 2007 for a really good price and after sitting in original packaging for 2 years in a closet, they ALL leaked. And yes, they were NOT expired yet. So they had quality issues way back then.

I had a different experience. I bought the 60 piece deal a couple of years ago. Got 60 AA and 60 AAA. Haven't had a problem with a single one. Duracell on the other hand every single battery I have had over the past couple of years have leaked.

Same experiences. Leaked in many appliances from remotes, clocks, just about everything I've used in. Would never buy again
