A month ago I just paid $20 and change for 40-count AAA (and another $20 for 40-count AA) Duracell from Costco. Also I've not had issues in the past with Rayovac so at this price it won't hurt to have a few future-use extras for remotes, kids toys, etc.
Bought like a 20 pack of Ravovac AA back in 2007 for a really good price and after sitting in original packaging for 2 years in a closet, they ALL leaked. And yes, they were NOT expired yet. So they had quality issues way back then.
I have had a bad experience with these batteries. They have leaked in many items. I would not recommend them.
I had a different experience. I bought the 60 piece deal a couple of years ago. Got 60 AA and 60 AAA. Haven't had a problem with a single one. Duracell on the other hand every single battery I have had over the past couple of years have leaked.

No they had the 60 packs for 9
Same. Leaks. Amazon Basic seems OK so far.

Same experiences. Leaked in many appliances from remotes, clocks, just about everything I've used in. Would never buy again
