FYI, Just Josh reviewed this laptop and labeled it one of the worst of 2023 because it was very loud and the fans would cycle up and down frequently. Shame too because for a non-gaming laptop, this has great features.

EDIT: I even looked further into this because it really is an interesting laptop. There were some threads about a BIOS update. But it doesn't look like it resolved the issue. FYI, Just Josh reviewed this laptop and labeled it one of the worst of 2023 because it was very loud and the fans would cycle up and down frequently. Shame too because for a non-gaming laptop, this has great features.

EDIT: I even looked further into this because it really is an interesting laptop. There were some threads about a BIOS update. But it doesn't look like it resolved the issue. This doesn't have a dedicated GPU. It's integrated graphics.

Don't let anyone be fooled by the "non-gaming" part of this comment. The 780M can definitely game! It's not as good as a dedicated gpu, but in many titles it'll give you 60fps+(in some 100fps+!) which is completely fine. The cool part about that is that since the 780M being integrated is that the whole laptop uses such a low TDP, it doesn't get near as hot as "gaming" laptops with dedicated GPU's.

Sort of. On a screen with a lot of pure black and dark colors, yes, at the same brightness and refresh rate it should consume less energy. However, with a lot of white and bright colors, the OLED will consume more energy than the typical LED lit display.
