Probably you are mixing 2things shipped and sold they both are different if it's sold by Amazon then they get it from manufacturer, shipped by Amazon can be from any seller

Are you sure that if product is coming direct from manufacturer and sold by Amazon that this fresh product is mixed in the same basket as stuff they are shipping for third party sellers that might be old and close to expiration?

Wasting time? It's $30 for 0.5oz of "product". Seems to me it would be an easy way to print cash if you could clone the packaging.

You have it exactly right. Olay has actually had huge counterfeit issues. I am pretty sure I ended up with some counterfeit Olay face cream a few years back from Amazon. Now I buy locally to try to avoid the problem. Costco has great prices on Olay and other skin care items, especially when they're on promotion.
