Id give the nod to the liquid spark. If if went with schiit, id want the Magni+ so its DC direct. But remember the schiit amp is now discontinued, and schiit isnt known for quality or good RMA process.
This amp has known issues with left or right channel imbalance sound. Bought one a while back when it was on sale for $50. RMA first one, the second one have a stuck volume knob. It just POS.

Does this suffer from imbalance? I forget the terms, but my magni 3+ or whatever has the issue where the volume knob is sensitive to sending more audio to left or right and requires messing with it to get balanced audio.

This is a solid deal for a great "budget" amp. I use budget in quotes because it would cost a lot more money achieve an upgrade. Pair this with a inexpensive Topping or SMSL DAC and you'll have a desktop headphone setup that will sound fantastic.

What's the best way to connect this to a computer so I can listen to flac files. I don't think my sound card had the right outputs

No. You need a true phono preamp that can produce the RIAA curve needed to correctly reproduce the sound.

you want a 3.5mm to 2 RCA cable.

You need a DAC. The computer signal goes to the DAC, typically via a USB connection, then the DAC connects to the amp using RCA interconnects.

I have this, seems good but I'm still shopping for a better DAC to pair with it.
