Fakespot rates this product an F, with the company at a C. I see a lot of these Lisen products being posted now. I picked up a 3 pack of cables from them a while back, and two of them have already shorted out. As much as I enjoy a good deal, I don't think I'm going to bother with this brand again. Hopefully other people have a better experience than myself.

I have Lisen stuff in two cars and they are working fine, they aren't top quality stuff like Anker but they work.

I feel like Aukey was rebranded to Lisen but the other commenter was right, Aukey was better. That being said I have stuff from them and it does work. I definitely can't say I have been ripped off.

Nah, Anker is definitely better quality than those other two. I would rank Anker at the top, Aukey in the middle and Lisen below Aukey.

why do cars even have cigarette lighter ports anymore - should be abandoned and just give us a 3 prong plug to plug in.

Car systems in the US are 12v-- it's already available without any conversion. 120vac would require inverters which consume power just to be on, and most devices in a car need to step that back down to 5-20vdc anyway, which is inefficient (12vdc--> 120vac --> 12vdc, kinda dumb). 120vac is also dangerous to humans, whereas 12vdc is not.

Now should cigarette lighters be upgraded to something better like USB-C, or should the US move to 24vdc or higher in cars... those are interesting questions imo

I'm so fed up with trash products like this. I have gone through 4 different car USB adapters that just keep failing. My latest randomly stops charging at various intervals, and it was a Rocket-something brand from best buy.

Does anyone know of a good, reliable, fast+charging usb car charger?
