That's what I do each time I go for other stuff. Check clearance end cap and a few other Ryobi tool spots and go.

I wonder how people run into these deals. What do you do, do you walk around the whole store when you visit? The only time when I visit the store is when I need something, I just grab what I need and leave.

Went to HD after seeing this lower price and the batteries sitting there were still $98.

Did you ask an associate to scan for price verification. Some stores are not good at marking down stuff.

How often do they have these kind of battery deals for $70 for the 6ah and 4ah?? I don't really need the batteries yet but really wouldn't want them to just sit around for a year until I might need them. I already have 3 non-HP and 1 HP battery. Also are there NEW versions of these batteries coming out soon hence the clearance?

I watched too and know high AH battery is not only about capacity but in some cases also deliver higher power, that's why I am curious if the high AH battery helps vacuum as well.
Most Ryobi vacuums won't show much, if any, advantage of the HP batteries or the extra current a bigger battery can provide. But they definitely will run longer with a bigger battery.

Look for HP rated tools to go with the HP batteries. Find an HP vacuum if you really want a stronger one. Otherwise, don't expect much and you may or may not get a small pleasant surprise.

I buy on eBay look alikes. Mine all work fine. 6a was about $24. 4a $22.

But it's important to get the multi charger to keep them charged. Mine does 6 at a time.

13amp is 1500W-ish, so no. You might need a generator or a large battery and inverter.

Had to spend lot of time in the store for this deal. It would save lot of time to directly ask the associates as they had these packed in some cardboard boxes and kept them on the top shelf. The qty showing up in breekseek turned out to be correct though.

North of Baltimore the Aberdeen Home Depot has about 16 in stock
Brickseek's inventory check is spot on for this store at least. They also had some of the Expand-it attachments on clearance. This one for $49 is a good deal if someone needs it: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../100234564

Many available in the STL area. Went to one store which BS reported as having 4, but I could not find them. Went to another store with 18 listed and found several. They were marked with the yellow $70 clearance price tag on the shelf.

This. My store had them in the cage marked at $99. Asked them to scan the price . . . $70.
