Got these for $42 on Jan 14. Nice shoes, just used them for my first real ride in them. Feel grippy on the pedals vs. my hiking boots I've been wearing. They have good airflow so it had been too cold until today.

I did not like these compared to the freerider pros. No toe protection from rocks and water gets in too easily from creek crossings. Good for lighter riding that doesn't involve creeks or on warmer days that it doesn't matter.

I have been wearing Five Ten bike shoes for many years, and love them. I have 3 pairs, in different colors and styles and they have lasted for many years. I actually wear them for hybrid biking mainly for roads. They are a bit heavy for that purpose, but they stick well to my pedals, which is a plus, since I do not like wearing clips. (their non-clip variety). I find them very comfortable. By the way, I found several other styles that seem to be on sale for $50-60 as well on the adidas site, although not in any style/color that I want. The pairs that I own, were all bought prior to adidas buying them out in 2020. (and until seeing this post.....I had no idea that they were bought out.)

There is a LEAPDAY CODE today for 40%. There are some other trail cross lt black or green versions on the site on sale. I was able to get some green ones for $35 shipped. Lots of men's sizes still in stock.

Why does the OP not reference the LEAPDAY code???

For $33 bucks, Ill give em a try. One guy I ride with says he had them and wore through the soles quickly. But Ill graib a pair just to have something diifferent. I probably have more than a dozen pair of freeriders / freeride pro / impact / sleuth, etc.

My two pair came in. They seem ridgid and made of cheap material. Not very comfortable but I have them and will put them in the black show rotation.
