90hz, 90% DCIP3, 10w of speakers (way better than most laptops), Ethernet and USB-C PD along with a hub, rich inputs, and comes factory calibrated for $150, crazy. Wish it was 4k, I'd happily pay $100-150 more.
Webcam positioning on top of the monitor is also very ideal. You look much better from that angle than from say a laptop angle. This camera is also apparently Windows Hello enabled.

It looks like all those smart features are crappy gimmicks. It will probably even harder to work with this as a monitor because of those so-called features.
This HP device has some meaningful camera tracking as far as I understand. Moreover, it has a built-in dock for USB-C charging and lots of USB-A outlets. I know such a feature would clear my desk a lot.
Samsung's features are more meaningful for a TV not a monitor so it probably doesn't worth the price difference.

and I just missed the deal. I should've triggered first and then go for research.

But we agree that the HP monitor and the Samsung monitor are for two different uses and are not two monitors to compare.
Sorry you missed the deal.

So lets act honestly, its mostly available for $270.
Otherwise, that monitor is not so great. Features are mostly useless. That makes the comparison, HP one a better deal.
Image quality is great, build quality is awesome and good price as well.
Lately I have had good luck with HP Products - Elitebook laptops, HP Color Laser printer and now this monitor.

How's the webcam quality? I can't find a review on it, some decent quality from the G4 but I'm not sure if it's the same sensor.
