A couple of the other precious metal major retailers are offering at about same or slightly lower price - only savings here would be any cash back you would be receiving

2023 is not the same as 2024 though.
GoldClub is selling for less only if you purchase with an ACH or wire transfer. Using any credit card that provides even a measly 1% cash back nets you a lower price at costco.

Well seeing as they don't request a SSN or TIN how would they go about sending a 1099? Also, what would a 1099 have to do with BUYING anything? 1099 is for reporting income, there's no income when you buy something.
