You know... you can recharge the battery. You don't have to throw the whole thing away after the first 5 minutes.

I got the fpv after using a mini for the longest time. It was the open box Best Buy deal. Absolutely train in the included simulator (phone attached to the goggles via usb) before you use the sport mode. Sport basically gives you full access to the capabilities of a FPV versus the mild/ heavily stabilized maneuverability of the mini. This thing burns through battery, expect about 5min in sport mode, but I have easily gone 70mph with this thing. It's weird passing cars alongside a country road.

If it's your first time, then guaranteed you will crash it. That's why it's better to buy brand new and buy the DJI Care so you get 2x free replacements per year.

Not bad on the FPV Drone combo considering it goes for $1k+. But you have to call for availability. Can't add it to the cart.

i've been looking to get a cam for recording reviews of local places in my city, is the pocket 2 a good choice and a good price? looking for something small, discreet that I can carry in without attracting a lot of attention. this looks pretty ideal but I don't know much about these, so any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

The deal on the Osmo Action is pretty great. I've run one for a couple of years now and it's been an absolute tank, and the video/stills are every bit as good as anything that comes out of a GoPro.

Been looking at that Action 4 deal DJI calls refurb but everyone is getting new cameras. For me this Action 3 Adventure kit seems like a great entry camera for me to take vids in Europe with my family next month. I plan to let me 11/9 year olds use it while my wife and take pics with our phones.
Are the files enormous/hard to work with? Like 1-2 min clips?
A little nervous the app isn't on Google Play store either, any thoughts on that?

Maybe I should look at the pocket 2 as well

Any chance we can get bigger capacity on batteries to gain more time?
this unit actually has one of the bigger batteries on the market for fpv drones

Just bought the Action 4 refurb deal that was on SD, and it is brand new. My old DJI Mini refurb was also brand new, that's why I have no hesitation in buying DJI refurbs.
Files are pretty big depending on your settings, 4K60 is definitely enormous.

I believe it's due to some privacy policy issues or something that Google Play store don't allow it, Apple Store has it if that's any assurance. Apple also has very strict guidelines for their app store

The Action 3 is a great deal. Appreciate the post @iconian!

I just received my Action 4 refurb for $239 yesterday. As many said, it looks brand new, or they did a fantastic job repackaging. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet.

It's kinda like the Ryobi circular saw deal post here on SD that got a lot of traction. I have a 6-1/2 circular saw already. I don't need a smaller, but lighter 5-1/2" saw, especially at $70. But at $26, it's like, why not, for when I need a lighter saw, or just work less harder. $169 is still a good deal. But since I have the Action 4 now, if the Action 3 were half of what I paid for Action 4, I'd be like, why not, take the Action 3 for trips where I don't want to worry about the camera as much. Regardless, great deal. Thanks to all the deal posters, I greatly appreciate you saving me my hard earned money!!!

Thanks for the response/info. I like the idea of this 3 Adventure for the batteries and selfie stick/jumping into this world for $240 vs $240+battery+accessories.
Prob gonna end up getting mic as well.
Ultimately I have a feeling this will go to kids and if I like it I'll upgrade next year

Refinished product form DJI official may be brand new, but open box products from buying may be really open box items.

The app is easy to get. I control my Action 4 on Android no problem.

Ended up pulling the trigger on the DJI FPV. Started watching some video reviews and this drone is a beast in terms of speeds.
